Medical Certificate
In Thailand, the COVID-19 PT-PCR test costs between 2,200 and 2,500 THB.
Keep in mind, however, that some hospitals may not include the price for a Medical Certificate with an RT-PCR test result confirming that COVID-19 is not identified.
PCR in English Hospitals may give negative certifications.

When will you get the test results?
In general, results showing that COVID-19 is not discovered will be available within 24-48 hours after testing. If the test is positive, you must undertake further testing and treatment. Most often results will come the next day. However, if you want to get the certificate the same day, you must schedule an appointment and be tested very early in the morning, and the certificate is usually given out between 16:00 and 18:00 on the day of the examination. Retesting may be required in a few circumstances, and even individuals who were tested on the same day may have a time lag.
Tips for getting COVID-19 test in Thailand
Coronavirus infections are spreading rapidly in Thailand. Patients should avoid interacting with other patients in the hospital and instead utilize the “drive-thru” COVID-19 test service.
You need to call the hospital in advance since each hospital has its own set of procedures. For example, Sukumvit Hospital’s COVID-19 Fast Track Testing asks you to schedule using a Google Form first and the staff will call you to complete the E-Payment.
In order to be tested at the hospital, you will need to wait for an email confirmation of your appointment. Depending on the number of consumers, the result will be available in 24-48 hours.
After the new outbreak of local diseases in April 2021, the service and the pricing may also be altered. Several hospitals have declared a temporary halt to COVID-19 testing for patients who show no symptoms. Patients with signs or symptoms are the only ones eligible for this service.
A negative COVID-19 test result certificate may contain a time constraint, much as the Thai Government demands that a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test certificate be provided no more than 72 hours before travel for persons who enter Thailand.
