Airport Shuttle Bus is available to travelers and airport staff. The express line links the main terminal to the transportation centre immediately.
Bangkok has two airports: Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang Airport (DMK). There are numerous methods to get between them, but the cheapest is to take a free shuttle bus service from BKK to DMK or from DMK to BKK.
We propose that you use it since it runs through an expressway (Din Daeng Expressway & Don Mueang Tollway), which is quite handy and, of course, free of charge.
The bus is white and has air conditioning. There is a baggage storage place inside the bus, so having a large suitcase is not an issue. The service is first-come, first-served, therefore there is no need to make a booking.

Bangkok Airport Free Shuttle Bus COVID-19 Update
Even though the number of aircraft arriving at both Bangkok airports is drastically decreased, we can confirm that the free shuttle bus between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang Airport is still functioning during the COVID-19 breakout!
The number of bus departures may be decreased somewhat (no official notification was made), but you may easily get on the next bus since they are running practically empty. You must, as usual, produce the ticket for the leaving flight from the airport to which you are flying.
The most visible change is the bus’s seating regulation, which allows only every second seat to be used.

Free Shuttle Bus Timetable

The Airport Shuttle Bus Timetable below displays scheduled shuttle bus departure times.
- The shuttle bus operates every day. The first bus departs from both airports at 5:00 a.m., while the latest bus departs at 24:00 p.m. Depending on the time of day, the bus leaves every 12 or 30 minutes. The following is the current airport shuttle bus schedule:
- The airport shuttle bus leaves every 30 minutes between 05:00 and 08:00, 11:00 and 16:00, and 19:00 and 24:00.
- The airport shuttle bus departs every 12 minutes between 08:00-11:00 and 16:00-1900.
The route to another airport takes around 50-60 minutes. However, if you use the shuttle bus service during rush hour or severe weather, it may take twice as long since it may be delayed due to traffic congestion.
Airport Shuttle Bus Route Map
A digital board at the bus stop displays the shuttle bus route map, the projected time of the next departure, and the current position of all buses on the route, as well as their estimated arrival time.
