From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Lamphong Railway Station
The two best options for traveling from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Lamphong Train Station are:

From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Ekkamai Bus Terminal
1- Airport Rail Link & BTS SkyTrain
The easiest method to travel to Ekkamai Bus Terminal is to take the Airport Rail Link from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Phaya Thai station (30 minutes, 45 baht), then take the BTS SkyTrain from Phaya Thai station to Ekkamai Station (16 minutes, 44 baht), which is close to the bus terminal.
2- Airport Rail Link & MRT & BTS SkyTrain:
- From Suvarnabhumi Airport, take the Airport Rail Link to Makkasan station (22 mins, 35 baht).
- Change to the MRT at Phetchaburi Station (check here From Airport Rail Link Makkasan Station to MRT Phetchaburi Station), then take the MRT Metro to Sukhumvit Station (2 mins, 16 baht).
- Then, transfer from the MRT to the BTS and take the BTS SkyTrain from Asok Station to Ekkamai Station (5 mins, 26 baht). The Ekkamai Bus Terminal is just 50 meters from the Ekkamai BTS station.
This route is more direct, but we don’t suggest it if you have a lot of luggage since you’ll have to transfer a few times and the situation at these centrally placed stations may be hectic during peak hours.
Public Van & BTS
You may go to the first level of Suvarnabhumi Airport Arrivals and wait for a public van near gates 1 and 8. The public bus No. 552 Suvarnabhumi Airport – On Nut (45 minutes, 20 baht) will take you to the BTS SkyTrain On Nut Station. Then take the BTS SkyTrain to Ekkamai Station (4 mins, 23 baht).
If the van is full, there will be no pick-up on the first floor of Arrivals. As a result, even though it is the cheapest method to go to Ekkamai Bus Terminal from the airport, this alternative is not advised.
It is the most time-consuming choice since you may need to take the free shuttle bus to the public transportation hub first and then take the public van No. 552 from there.
Taxi
Taxis are the fastest option, but they are also the most expensive. A cab from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Ekkamai Bus Terminal should cost between 350 and 450 Baht. Always remember to request that the driver switches on the meter.
