The Test and Go program is for travelers who will not be quarantined; you will just need to be tested upon arrival at your booked accommodation and may go if the result is negative.
If you are the following, you are eligible for quarantine-free travel to Thailand:
- A fully vaccinated traveler,
- Traveling by air, and
- From the approved countries.
There is no requirement to stay at a certain hotel for 7, 10, or 14 days. You just need one day to stay in a hotel and take the COVID-19 exam. If you get a negative result from the RT-PCR COVID-19 test, you are free to travel across Thailand.
Beginning November 1, Thailand will enable fully vaccinated tourists flying from low-risk and only approved countries to go quarantine-free. This schema is called Test and Go.

If you are not from one of the countries mentioned above, you may still visit Thailand; however, you will be subject to mandatory quarantine upon arrival.

Test and Go Travelers' Requirements:
Even if you are a fully vaccinated tourist from a recognized nation and are flying, you must still present Thai officials with the proper paperwork to be given entrance into Thailand.
The following are the requirements for a Test and Go traveler:
1- Thailand Pass QR Code
Apply for a Thailand Pass QR Code here. To acquire the QR Code, you will need to fill out the appropriate information, submit the necessary documents, and wait for the approval.

2- Vaccination Certificate
Proof that you have been completely immunized will be required.
The vaccination you get must be one of those recommended by the Thai Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) or the World Health Organization (WHO) and delivered at least 14 days before your scheduled travel date.
Children under the age of 18 are exempt from vaccination requirements as long as their parents or guardians are.
3- Medical Certificate for COVID-19 Result
The RT-PCR Covid-19 test result must be negative. The test must be performed no more than 72 hours before your planned departure date.
If you have recently recovered from COVID-19, you will additionally want a Certificate of Recovery. It will act as proof that you have been COVID-19-free for at least 3 months.
The critical details that must be included in the Fit to Fly certificate are as follows:
- Letterhead/ Logo showing the name of the clinic/ urgent care.
- Name of the Doctor/Physician/Nurse/Healthcare provider.
- Medical license number.

4- Travel Insurance or COVID-19 Insurance
You must have travel insurance or COVID-19 insurance with a minimum of $50,000 coverage.
If you test positive for Covid-19, it will cover any Covid-19-related incidents.
5- Payment Confirmation of AQ, ASQ, or SHA+ Hotels
You must book a hotel for at least one night if you are a Test and Go traveler
1-Night Packages for Test and Go Travelers
Since November 1, when Thailand implemented the Test and Go program to tourists, approved Alternative Quarantine (AQ) hotels have created 1-night packages or Test and Go packages to cater to those particular passengers.
The 1-night package or the Test and Go package should include the following:
- RT-PCR COVID-19 Test
- Antigen Test Kit (ATK)
- Accommodation for at least 1 night.
- Transfer from the airport to the hotel of your choice.

During Your Stay
Wait for the test result within the hotel room. *While the waiting period should be within 24 hours, it may vary between 24-48 hours, depending on the laboratory’s operating time.
If testing negative for COVID-19, you will receive an Antigen Test Kit (ATK) for COVID-19 self-testing on Day 6-7.
Get an alert for the self ATK testing on Day 6-7, and to record the result in the MorChana application.

When You Are Leaving
Free to go anywhere in Thailand or leave Thailand to other countries. However, travellers are advised to follow the guidelines and measures announced by the respective province/country of their destination.
